    They are so cute, I love squirrels! You have done very well to get those shots: they get scared and run away whenever I try to photograph them. Do you have any tips for photographing them?

      Thank you! I don't have special tips; I just follow them some time and they don't have a choice to be in my camera :)

    The melanistic (black) squirrels are starting to become more common in the UK lately. Our native red squirrels are becoming very rare except in a few isolated locations. These are lovely shots.

      I use nikkor 55-200 kit lens for it. My camera is nikon d7000.

    Wonderful pictures of squirrels!The ones I see seem to differ in colour ranging from rusty red to dark brown, but never black.Is it unusual where you are?

    I'd never see black squirrels before I came to Canada. They unusual for Russia, but for Canada this species is very common. Thanks for your comments!

    Ik hoop ooit nog eens een eekhoorn voor mijn lens te krijgen en ga dan ook steevast op zoek. Zie ik hier ineens een zwarte eekhoorn Ik wist niet eens dat die bestonden, maar wat een gave foto's.
